Title: Account Manager (Field based)

Purpose of the role:- To promote company products and services portfolio out to the reseller base in order to generate sales network services voice solutions. Contributing to the achievement of the team objectives and hitting individual sales targets Key Responsibilities:- To manage, develop and grow the revenues and profitability of a northern base of accounts in order to ensure both run-rate and new business targets are achieved. To understand a comprehensive range of Company Network Services products and services in order to maintain the product knowledge within the assigned account base. To maintain a structure call visit programme that ensures all customers receive the appropriate number of visits as part of a regular cycle. Work with the Company Dealer Sales Specialists to generate leads for new network services opportunities. Provide weekly sales and prospect information in a timely manner in readiness for weekly team calls and monthly team meetings. Be prepared to visit accounts located between Birmingham and Newcastle. Maintain a good understanding of the distribution marketplace and how this impacts of promoting and selling voice solutions. To liaise with all departments within the company in order to maximise sales leads and cross selling opportunities Qualifications/Relevent Experience:- To liaise with all departments within the company in order to maximise sales leads and cross selling opportunities A proven track record with the communications/IT industry of achieving sales against monthly/annual targets on a regular basis. Candidates should be credible at board level, polished and professional. Any experience of selling via resellers is an advantage but not a prerequisite. A minimum of 3 years sales experience, preferably field based. Essential skills/Qualities:- A history of selling voice solutions into a reseller/end customer base and achieving set targets and business objectives. Ambitious, self-motivated and able to work from either an office base or home when not visiting customers. Be able to contribute towards the overall team success by working as a team player whilst also focussing on individual targets. Be fully conversant with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word.
Salary:25,000, OTE 40,000 + car allowance
